Just found this site. I hate the yankees for many reasons.
First is the fair weather fans that act like the yanks crap don't stink that the management team is able to create magic due to their superior skills and that payroll has nothing to do with them winning.
Second is the new stadium. Why? They had enough cash on hand to build it themselves (I'm actually against public funding of sports stadiums in general but I won't have that discussion here) but got their friends in city hall to pay for it and they reduced stadium capacity and upped the price of tickets to a point where they are making a bigger profit selling fewer tickets. The most expensive ticket to see the Phillies is 70$ the Yankees 300$ cheapest tickets Phillies 10$ regular seats with a great view, Yankees 15$ for bleachers in a very small section of the stadium.
I could go on but I won't because Yankees fans don't care how the team wins as long as they win and if they stop winning they will move on to someone else.
